One key issue is to assure that the race courses selected are age appropriate - from over 30 Men to over 50 Women. (This was a bit of a challenge at Mt. Itasca last year.) Having raced all the courses at Mt. Itasca and knowing that conditions were going to be "rockets fast", I believe most would agree that we made the right decision on courses. I saw a number of the Senior Men skidding around corners:-) One of the most difficult challenges is defining courses that are challenging but enjoyable. Remember from our discussions last year that one of our primary goals is to encourage participation. It might be best to have someone local who has raced the courses help with the decision process.
