Attached is the Minnesota Biathlon winter racing schedule.

All these races, including the Trials races, will have Masters competition.

We welcome anyone who wants to join us.

If you intend to race any of the Trials races - December 12,13,19,20, and 22
- it is important that you let me know.  Masters is the only category that
is not having national team try outs so the number of Masters competing
might influence start times etc.

All Masters Men categories are scheduled to race the Senior Women's courses
and the Masters Women's categories are scheduled to race the Youth Women's
courses.  (These are the same courses that we raced at the 2008 Nationals.)

Also, if you would like housing information for the Trials races, please let
me know.

Julia - If you would blast this out to the BiathlonUSA e-mail list, that
would be great.

Thanks and please let know if you need any additional information.

December 25th - new registration deadline!

More then 2.500 people from 42 countries already registered to be part of
this season biggest winter event for recreational athletes. By now more then
800 alpine skiers, around 600 cross-country skiers, 200 ski jumpers, 100
competitors in biathlon and over 30 ice hockey teams have registered to have
"Olympic" style experience. In addition futsal teams from many countries
decided to register.

Because so many athletes still wants to compete and visit alpine pearl Bled
the deadline for registration have been extended. Athletes can register
until December 25th, 2009. Do not hesitate to spread that fabulous news
around your sport friends and competitors.
